Naturally Aids In Pituitary Health

  • Supports a healthy endocrine system
  • Promotes healthy pituitary function
  • Safe for long term use

The most common endocrine disorders faced by horse owners are equine metabolic syndrome (EMS) and pituitary pars intermedia dysfunction (PPID), more commonly known as Cushing’s disease. To learn more about the symptoms, causes and treatments for these health issues, visit the Health Library.

Chaste Tree Berry Powder aids in the normal functioning of the pituitary gland. With this herbal supplement, the pituitary and adrenal glands are regulated naturally. This allows accurate dopamine levels to normalize prolactin and help achieve hormone balance in the body.

This Chaste Tree Berry is milled to a very fine powder, which helps to enhance digestion, absorption and potency. This nutraceutical may be used with all treatment protocols. It has no known negative side effects and is safe for long-term use, as these diseases and syndromes are managed and not cured.
Use of steroid medications may decrease the effectiveness of Chaste Tree Berry Powder. Synthetic drugs may cause loss of appetite, weight loss, lethargy, and poor hair coat.

If you do not see significant improvement after one bucket of Chaste Tree Berry Powder, your horse may need more nutritional support. Harmony contains 8 active ingredients to address the more advanced issues horses face with Cushing’s and EMS.

Proper diet has an immense effect on maintaining a healthy endocrine system. Read more in the Nutrition Article in the Health Library, or for a brief overview of Dr. DePaolo’s feed program, check out the Feeding An Anti-Inflammatory Diet and Ingredients To Avoid tools on our website.

Great Product!

I started my mare on the chaste tree berry powder last spring replacing regumate, it worked great. I keep her on it year round just because she’s a fussy sort. I added the chaste tree berry to my metabolic chushings mustang cross gelding a couple yrs ago along with harmony. He has been on the harmony for several years due to IR and several bouts of laminitis. Dr Mark suggested adding the chaste tree berry when the Cushings diagnosis. My local vet suggested medication which I declined . My gelding is doing great, keep him barefoot, sound . He’s able to be out on the pasture in the green guard muzzle

I'm so impressed!

My Arabian mare was a classic case headed for Cushings. After about 50 days on the Chaste Berry Powder there are obvious, visible changes. The fatty crest on her neck is gone! She had fat pads at her girth behind the elbows, they are gone! I've been laid up with health issues and not able to ride so the Chaste Berry Powder has worked without Gracie being in work. She's 14.2, about 700 lbs and is getting three scoops, two times per day. I can't recommend De Polo's Chaste Berry Powder enough.

My 31year old horse has been on it for 3 or4 years now

My 31year old horse has been on it for 3 or4 years now. His depression has gone away and his neck hump is decreased. His health is pretty good for his age.

Worked for my ponies.

I have two aged ponies that have Cushings. I started this product two years ago and this past summer they shed out much better. Their coats are less curly and they are lively and eat well. No laminitis since starting it. I recommend this product for those that do not or cannot use Prascend or Pergolide.
