Horse Hair Analysis®

Horse Hair Analysis^®  is a customized horse nutrition evaluation. Horse Hair Analysis^® provides you with a tremendous opportunity to evaluate not only your horse’s health via vitamin, mineral and metal levels, but also how well your current feed and supplementation program is working. Horse Hair Analysis^® tests the last 90 day average of the vitamins and minerals that actually made it into the hair, which directly correlates to what the rest of the body’s tissues were able to metabolize.

The customized report will be approximately 10-12 pages and will graphically represent the results from the laboratory. Also included are written explanations from Dr. DePaolo on each deficient, healthy, or toxic level to clarify the findings. Finally, an HHA Personal Supplement™ will be recommended to normalize the deficient or toxic levels present in your horse.

Once you purchase Horse Hair Analysis®, you will receive easy to follow instructions via email explaining how to send your horses’ hair to us for testing. You simply cut a small sample from the mane and mail it to us.

Approximately 3-4 weeks after sending in the hair sample, you will receive your detailed customized report in the mail. This comprehensive report allows for deeper understanding of how nutrition affects performance and attitude. It presents you with the information necessary to provide your horse with optimal health and well-being. We had been through many health challenges with Windy. She had allergies and performance issues. She would resist moving out, would just stop, try to buck, look at her stomach or swish her tail.
